The cabin has floor-to-ceiling windows view of the grand river, a cozy wood fireplace and electric heat, a hot tub at edge of deck over the river, and your own private grassy yard adjacent to the river with firepit and picnic table. We are also ready for spontaneous reservations. We welcome you. To reserve, please phone 206-650-5390 or email info@harmony-lodge.com

You can purchase $42 ski ticket instead of $60 ticket window price, as part of your River View Cabin reservation.

The River View Cabin is 850 square feet and elegantly equipped and furnished, so you only need to bring change of clothes and food to cook. It is located near Stevens Pass ski resort, on the salmon pond above the rapids as the Skykomish River winds past the base of magnificent Mt. Index.

It is great experience to be in the large hot tub looking up and down the grand wide river and at the majestic mountains and huge sky, and being able to watch the beavers, otters, eagles, geese, ducks, and fish in their natural habitat.

At the special River View Cabin, there is a wood stairway to your spacious grassy yard at the river edge – a perfect location to lounge with refreshments on a blanket, in chairs, at the picnic table, or nestle in the grass -- enjoying quiet, private time with your loved ones and friends, and/or fish for salmon and trout while viewing the spectacular river, tall mountains, and big sky. There is a firepit also, and we provide firewood.

The view from the cabin windows, the view decks or private beach is a unique and unsurpassed experience -- a relaxing inspiring way to view the wild beauty of the dramatically beautiful Cascade mountains.

There is electric heat and also a lovely wood burning stove at River View Cabin. We provide the firewood and firestarters.
There is also a stereo system with iPod docking station, CD player, and AM/FM radio; and we have a small collection of CDs.

You can see the river from all the windows. Large mirror on the wall with wonderful reflection of the river. Antique pictures on the walls that add to the feeling of a getaway.

The kitchen is fully equipped and also includes full size refrigerator and stove, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, coffee/tea/hot chocolate/cider, salt-pepper, cooking oil, ketchup/mustard, sugar packets, and popcorn and old-fashioned popcorn maker, and tin foil and paper towels.

There is a large propane barbeque on the view deck over the river.

On main floor: queen size bed. Antique picture on walls, soft lighting. Wonderful view of the river and Mt. Index from window.

On the upper floor is 2 antique double size beds -- 1 with an ornate wood frame, 1 with a gold brass frame, a couch, and its own deck with a spectacular view.

The large view deck is 800 s.f. and perched over the river. It is great for lounging while observing the river wildlife and tall alpine mountains and grand sky, for a barbeque, a picnic, doing yoga, and taking some breathtaking amazing wildlife and scenery pictures.

Your dog is welcome to share the fun.

TESTIMONIALS

"The peace and quiet we were able to experience here was very healing and restorative. This house is so cozy and quickly felt like home. Being right on the river was a treat, and the view of the mountain was stunning."

“We drove in under the shadow of the night, with naught but a glimpse of what the landscape had to offer, and so we took to enjoying the coziness of the cabin, the warmth of the fire, and comfort of the bed. The morning came, and the sunlight reached through the bedroom window to awaken us, excited to begin the grand presentation. As we looked outside, our breath escaped us in awe of the majestic landscape, and we hurried outside to see the complete nature-made portrait in its perfection. As we began our day, the local jester came swimming along the river’s edge, curious about the new visitors. We quickly grabbed our camera, but otters can be fast, and each time we tried to take its picture it would dive under water. Eventually he tired of his own game and did not reappear.”

“We loved our night at River View Cabin! It was so relaxing and cozy. The view in the morning was amazing! We appreciate all the details you have added to ensure people enjoy their time and have everything they need. Thank you so much! We will for sure come back again!”

“The American bald eagle flew from one side of the river to the other, taking in all aspects of the strangers that we are. It must have deemed us harmless because it even posed for a few magnificent pictures. Later we took to the hot tub again, and could see the news of our friendly nature was delivered to the King Mountain and his Queen, for they awarded us with their sentinel, inspiring, and majestic new in all their glory. Tomorrow we regretfully leave this place, with full intentions to escape to here again. We hope to find it unchanged, because, as with all of the natural treasures, this is truly their Kingdom."
