Riverfront property near Stevens Pass -- Blue River Cabin is a riverfront property on the Skykomish River 30 minutes from Stevens Pass Ski Resort. It is a spacious 1,000 square feet two-story, with large view deck and floor-to-ceiling windows on each floor that overlook the river and mountains. There is a uniquely magnificent view of the Skykomish River, national forested mountains, and the grand sky.
Blue River Cabin is a cozy retreat for two persons, or family or friends groups, or an individual seeking quiet and inspiration. Our furniture layout, colors, and decor is designed for each reservation to make a fabulous time for you.

Fully-equipped and well-maintained -- You only need to bring your change of clothes and food to cook. Blue River Cabin is fully-equipped, elegant and clean. We provide linens, towels, and firewood. The kitchen is fully equipped and we also provide coffee and cooking oil.

Fireplace and electric heat -- There is a wood fireplace and electric heating.

Hot tub -- The hot tub has 24 jets and overlooks the river, forested mountain, and sky. At night, it is wonderful to be in the hot tub and view the amazingly visible stars.

View deck and floor-to-ceiling windows -- From the deck overlooking the river or from floor-to-ceiling windows, you can see the salmon and other fish in the river. You can see the salmon jump and swim and the resident river beaver splash in front of the cabin in the river.

Sleeping accommodations -- There is a queen size bed, 2 deluxe futon couches with 11-1/2 inch thick mattresses that that fold out into double beds, 2 single beds, and 1 couch that folds out to a double size bed.

Washer and dryer -- There is a washer and dryer, useful for families, those wet from snow activities, and those staying for a week or more.

Outdoor barbeque -- There is a propane outdoor barbeque on the view deck overlooking the river.

CD, TV, DVD, board games -- For more indoor fun and relaxation, there is a CD player, a TV with DVDs and satellite 40 channels and local channels, and board games.

Water activities from the property -- There is your very own personal sandy beach where you can enjoy the wonders of nature from the sandy beach. You can swim in this calm section of the Skykomish River. Bring a boat to row in the river -- exploring, watching the salmon, steelhead, and trout, and the river beaver splashing about. Row to the other side of the river and swing on a rope to swim in the river and explore the national forest and enjoy the unique view. You can also kayak, canoe, or float on an inner tube..

Reduced price ski lift tickets -- Reduced price ski lift tickets are available November through March.

Hiking -- Enjoy one or more of the many scenic and inspiring trails in this Skykomish area of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. A complete printout of the hikes in this area, a forest service road map, and information on nearby locations where to purchase a forest service pass are available at our Blue River Cabin.

Fishing -- Fish from the river edge of the property or in your boat or at the numerous nearby popular fishing spots on the Skykomish River. The printout of the fishing regulations is available for you at the Blue River Cabin, along with information on nearby locations to purchase bait and a fishing license.

Kayak and river raft -- You can kayak and river raft at fabulous nearby locations. Alpine Adventures in nearby Gold Bar provides wonderful river raft adventures from April through July. When you reserve your stay at Blue River Cabin, let us know if you want to have a river adventure with Alpine Adventures.

Horseback riding -- Nearby you can horseback ride.

Additional information on nearby outdoor activities, gas stations, and restaurants -- For your convenience, we have for you at the Blue River Cabin printed information about restaurants; gas stations; and nearby outdoor activities such as river rafting, horseback riding, hiking the national forest, and exploring the Index wall.

Blue River Cabin is one mile from highway 2 on the Skykomish River on a secluded riverfront road in a sparsely populated riversites area at the base of Mt. Index near the Lake Serene and Bridal Veil Falls U.S. Forest Service trails in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

Your dog is welcome at Blue River Cabin. When not on Blue River Cabin property and when on trails, per County code your dog is required to be on a leash. We have a leash for you to use.

DAILY RATES --

Your dog is welcome at $15 per day.
Children 16 months and younger stay for free.
Cleaning fee.

September through June: Sunday through Thursday $175 double occupancy, $23 per additional person.
Friday and Saturday $185 double occupancy, $23 per additional person.

July through Labor Day weekend: Sunday through Thursday $190 double occupancy, $23 per additional person.
Friday and Saturday $198 double occupancy, $23 per additional person.

WEEKLY RATES --
September through June, except holidays and March and April:
$1,050/week (double occupancy); $23/night/additional person.
March and April:
$1,000/week (double occupancy); $23/night/additional person.

Reservations are administered through Harmony Lodge.

Cancellation Policy: 15 days prior to reservation date -- 75% refund or full credit toward another date; 0-14 days prior to reservation -- 75% refund or full credit toward another date, if dates can be re-reserved. If not, no refunds/credit. Three percent (3%) processing fee is nonrefundable if reservation is cancelled.
